What is a parallel dialer?
A parallel dialer places several outbound calls at the same time for one rep and connects the rep to whichever call a person answers first. Dialing several at once means the rep isn't sitting through ring after ring and voicemail greeting after voicemail greeting on a single line. They spend the hour talking.
Personnect dials up to five lines per rep, and a manager can set a lower number for the team. For the longer version, read what a power dialer is.
Parallel dialer vs power dialer
A power dialer places calls automatically from a list, so reps never type a number. The classic single-line version dials one number at a time and moves to the next as soon as a call ends, so the rep still waits through every ring. A multi-line power dialer, usually called a parallel dialer, dials several numbers at once and connects the rep to whoever answers. A predictive dialer, common in call centers, paces calls to agent availability across a whole floor; it is built for volume campaigns rather than an SDR working a target list.
Personnect is a multi-line power dialer, a parallel dialer: one rep, up to five lines, and the rep decides when the session starts and stops. See parallel dialer vs power dialer and power vs auto vs predictive dialers.
What happens when someone answers
The rep is connected the moment a person says hello. Before they speak, the screen shows the contact's name, title and company, the AI insight on that lead, call notes, the last conversation and the call history.
When a machine answers instead, Personnect recognises it, hangs up and dials the next contact, so reps don't sit through voicemail greetings.
After the call, nothing to type
Calls are recorded and transcribed, and answered calls get a short summary. The outcome, transcript, recording link and call details are logged to HubSpot or Salesforce without the rep typing a note.
Calls nobody picks up still pay off. Personnect reads the voicemail greeting, checks the name, the title and that the number is live, and marks the contact as voicemail verified.
Guardrails built in
Numbers on your do-not-call list are never dialed and are refused at import. Calling-hours rules (8am to 9pm in the contact's local time) and stricter state rules can be switched on for your organization. Each rep's calls go out from your local numbers, spread evenly so no single number carries the load, and every number's health is watched automatically. Here is how number health works.
Who it is for
SDR and BDR teams that cold call from a target list and want more live conversations per hour, and sales leaders who want every call logged without chasing reps for notes. Pricing is 8.5¢ per answered minute with unlimited users, so it works for a team of two as well as fifty. See pricing.
