Prospect local time by area code

Paste area codes or phone numbers to see the local time, the time zone, and whether it's business hours for each prospect right now. It covers every area code in service in the US and Canada.

Updated

Your results will show here: local time, time zone, and whether it's business hours there right now.

Business hours here means Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

How it works

Type three-digit area codes or full phone numbers, separated by commas or new lines, and press Show local times. For each one you get the region, the local time and the day of the week, and whether it's within business hours there: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

Daylight saving time is handled for you, including the places that don't use it, like most of Arizona and Saskatchewan. Some area codes span two time zones; the tool shows both.

Why local time matters when you call

A call that lands at 8 a.m. on the East Coast is a call at 5 a.m. on the West Coast. When a list covers several time zones, working through it top to bottom means calling some people too early and others after they've left.

Sort your list by time zone before a calling block, start with the zones where the day has started, and move west as the morning goes on.

Rules on calling times can also apply to your calls; see calling time restrictions.

Where the area-code data comes from

The list of area codes and their time zones comes from the North American Numbering Plan Administrator's public area-code report: every geographic area code in service in the US and Canada. The tool runs in your browser and nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

Calling from their area code

The same area codes decide what your prospects see on their screen. Personnect calls each contact from a local number in their own area code, and coverage shows which area codes your list needs, so you rent only those.
